On the evening of October 30, 2009, Fred James Overton passed away, leaving us with great memories and a program within our company that truly helps save lives throughout many facilities every year. We thank him for his knowledge, his dedication, but most of all his friendship. He will not be forgotten. Principal Instructor Program

Requirement : To become a CALM Principal Instructor you must have already been a CALM Instructor for 2 years minimum

A twenty-four hour (3-day) class for CALM Instructors to teach a *supervised CALM Instructor Course for their employment organization, allowing them to teach all other CALM course options, including the CALM Instructor Course. Principal Instructors must teach a minimum of 3 classes in a two-year period to maintain certification. The cost is $235 per student (**minimum of 6 students) within the Principal Instructors course (this certifies the students for two years as CALM Instructors) and a one time $1,500 charge for the Principal Instructor themselves (this certifies them for two years). An eight-hour Principal Instructor Course Update is required every year, which costs $200. These costs include their Principal Instructor Training Manual and two year certification card/certificate of completion and the students Instructor Manuals and two year certification card/certificate of completion.

Principal Instructors can then teach CALM Instructors within their organization at a reduced cost of $235 instead of the full $695 per student rate. CALM Instructors can then teach the other CALM courses, certifying the rest of the organizational staff, at a cost of $10 per participant, instead of the full $95 per participant rate. This cost includes their annual CALM certification card.

*The Principal Instructor Course can be supervised by the Crisis Management Solutions President and/or Vice-President only.

*To become a Principal Instructor for your facility, you must have at least 6 new Instructors in your supervised class.

CALM Awards Program

This program allows CALM Instructors to receive a 25% award on CALM Instructor Classes they refer to new companies who make an account with Crisis Management Solutions, Inc. You, as the referring Instructor, will get 25% of the 1st CALM Instructor Training they conduct (example: their first CALM Instructor Training is 20 students, this would result in an awards check to you in the amount of $3,475, as full cost per Instructor is $695 per student). Please take advantage of this program, as we value you and appreciate your work as a CALM Instructor and want to reward you for any help in obtaining new clients. Please note: in order to accept any awards, you must obtain the approval of your current employer. CALM is not responsible for making sure you have the approval of your employer, however if your employer will not allow you to accept the award it can be given as credit to your organization on CALM Training's or Products.
